HISTORY OF THE JACKSONS

In 1920 Joseph B. Jackson started the family in the roofing business, later his son Joseph E. Jackson took over the family business. Joseph E. Jackson, Jr. used to work for his father and in 1984 founded Advanced Roofing Systems, Inc., following in his grandfather’s and father’s footsteps. Advanced adopted it’s DBA of “ACR1.COM Commercial Roofing” after developing it’s website and as a way to maintain a consistent name once we spread to various states.

ACR1.COM Commercial Roofing, founded in Indiana, quickly expanded throughout the Midwest, serving Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In 1997, we were licensed in Florida, and we now serve Georgia as well.
